The Boudoir

Steven's back-room, and The Onion Ring.

The boudoir was the name given to Steven Roche’s bedroom. It was an annex at the back of the Roche family home where a group of very close knit friends used to congregate and hang out all the time. This group was eventually nicknamed The Onion Ring. We used to turn up at the Roche home where the doors were always open and walk through the house greeting other members of the family until we got to Steven’s boudoir where we would spend hours sitting around chatting and drinking endless cups of tea. Occasionally these gatherings would turn into little parties with hysterical laughter and lots of fun and games.
